Celebrate Black History with resources, programs at the Library

Learn more about Black history during February at the Round Rock Public Library! In addition to book lists, we are also sponsoring programs by the Round Rock Black History Organization (RRBHO) and The Links, Incorporated.

One of the more popular Black history programs in Round Rock was RRBHO’s Historic Bus Tour. Now you can take the tour virtually anytime! The Round Rock Local Black History Tour is now available to view on the Library’s Local History page. The tour features sites integral to Black history in our area, such as The Hopewell School and St Paul African Episcopal Church.

When you click on the Large Map button, you can learn more about each site and view photos, if they are available.
